This position provides support and assistance for the criminal investigation functions of the District Attorney’s Office. Gathers reports, recordings, summaries, photographs and other information from a variety of agencies to assist investigators by ensuring case files are ready for use by prosecutors. Reviews files and notes from investigators and victim advocates to determine which agencies are needed to supply information. Performs data entry to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information in both electronic and hard copy files. Analyzes social media records, phone records, and other records to assist with investigations and prosecutions. Composes and prepares a variety of summaries of records to assist with investigations and prosecutions. Processes confidential and sensitive criminal histories. Performs related duties.
