The Ringgold Police Department is seeking POST certified officers to fill positions within our Uniform Patrol Division. The mission of the Ringgold Police Department is to provide the community a safe environment with professional quality police service through positive interaction with our citizens. Ringgold is the county seat of Catoosa County and acts as a gateway city to travelers who come to Georgia via Interstate 75. Our City provides excellent benefits to include:100% paid medical insurance for individual employees and 70% paid medical insurance for dependent coverage; retirement packages with a 10% contribution from the City; dental and vision insurance, and paid time off. We have a take-home vehicle program and our officers enjoy 12- hour shifts that give them every other weekend off (3 days). Qualified applicants that are Georgia POST Certified must be 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, have a valid driver's license, and have no felony convictions. The Ringgold Police Department offers competitive pay based on training and experience with a minimum of $17.00 per hour for entry-level POST certified officers.
