RESERVE OFFICER PROGRAM:
The Kingston Police Department's Reserve Officer Program consists of certified police officers that provide assistance to full & part-time sworn personnel in the day-to-day operations of law enforcement services and during emergencies, consistent with laws, statutes and municipal ordinances. To satisfy the class specification requirements for Reserve Officers, these officers will be held to the same standards of selection, training, qualifications, conduct, and performance as paid full-time sworn personnel.
Applicants for the Reserve Officer program must be certified Georgia police officers in the State of Georgia and in good standings with GA P.O.S.T. Council. Reserve Police officers are considered volunteers. However, they are required to serve a minimum of twenty (20) hours on patrol each month = five (5) hours a week.

Applications must be notarized and must be completed in full. Incomplete, misleading or lying on applications will be disqualified. Completed applications will need to be turned over to the City of Kingston Police Department at 30 West Main Street, Kingston, GA 30145.
