Salary: $55,487.00 - $83,229.00
Purpose of Classification:
The purpose of this classification is to perform duties related to ensuring compliance by users of an assigned area within the County's financial system. Responsibilities include supervising assigned staff, monitoring and controlling system use, and serving as a liaison between the Finance Department and financial system users.
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business or public administration, or a related field required; supplemented by three years of experience in accounting, budgeting, finance (including treasury experience); at least 1 year lead or supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Specific License or Certification Required: None required; Certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in performance of the essential functions and learn, comprehend, and apply all county or departmental policies, practices, and procedures necessary to function effectively in the position. Same related fields are required as for the Chief Deputy Clerk with the Administration assignment.
