The City of Locust Grove seeks all qualified individuals (both Internal and External) for the following position: Main Street Program Manager/Economic Development. Main Street Manager is responsible for the city’s efforts with the national Main Street Program as well as overall economic development activities in the city. The City is in the midst of a development boom, increasing in population from 5,402 to 8,947 between 2010 and 2020, with recent year over year increase by 8.5 to 12%. The Historic Downtown is nearly 100% occupied, with new development opportunities and redevelopment of adjacent property/neighborhoods. Upcoming items in this decade is a renewal of the city’s LCI for this area beginning 2025.
Pay Grade for this position is Level 65 which can be found by accessing our Pay Plan and Benefits on our website.
