The City of Duluth, Georgia (pop. 31,000) is accepting applications for a full-time DEPUTY CLERK OF COURT.
The Deputy Clerk of Municipal Court is second in command for the non-judicial operation of the Municipal Court of the City of Duluth and is the immediate supervisor of selected subordinate court employees performing clerical duties.
This employee performs a variety of routine and specialized public safety administrative and clerical duties affecting the operation of the Municipal Court. Successful performance helps ensure the accuracy of administrative records and facilitates the efficient and effective operation of the Municipal Court.
Performs the duties of the Clerk of the Court in their absence, which includes: preparing and mailing monthly remittance reports; timekeeping for all staff; confirming bonds received from the jail, counting bonds and applying bonds.
All applicants must have a High School diploma, state-issued GED, or equivalent with previous work experience in customer service (by phone or in person), or general clerical duties in an office environment.

Hiring pay range is $21.06 - $25.16 per hour (annualized $43,804 - $52,332; Grade 21) based on qualifications. The City also provides an excellent benefits package.
