GORDON COUNTY, GEORGIA – Gordon County is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and governmental accounting experience with a local government. Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job will be considered. Duties include adjusting and maintaining general ledger, and accounting for fixed assets, grants, capital leases, budget preparation and sales tax revenues. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director and will supervise clerical staff in the absence of the Finance Director. Please apply online at .
