The Public Safety Ambassador acts as an unsworn additional resource for the Milton Police Department to use to augment protection services by increasing visibility, observation, and reporting (eyes and ears), enhancing community policing efforts, increasing community outreach, and performing protection activities that do not require actions by sworn police officers.

  • Calls for Service or Dispatched Calls - Receives calls for service or dispatched calls to respond, assess situations, and take appropriate action under their role and responsibilities as a PSA, i.e., respond to an action or situation that is reasonable to assume is low risk and does not require response by a sworn officer.
