Through the Chain of Command to the GIS Special Projects Manager, this position is responsible for administering the "one stop shop" building permitting activities for the City of Winder. The Development Project Manager serves as the customer liaison for all permitting matters associated with high density residential and commercial construction projects within the City of Winder under the general direction and supervision of the GIS Special Projects Manager. Work involves reviewing applications for licenses, permit applications, and subdivision plats for approval, logging information into computer, maintaining records, and providing information and assistance to customers and the public regarding zoning and other activities of the department. Work is performed in conjunction with members of all city departments, and under the supervision and direction of the Director of Planning and Development.
