Harris County is accepting bids for the construction of a new Fire Training Classroom in Hamilton, GA. The building will be on approximately 1 acre of undisturbed land behind the existing Hamilton Fire Station located at 10188 GA-116, Hamilton, GA and will be approximately 1,990 sf, slab on grade, wood framed with corrugated metal veneer siding and wood trusses with a corrugated metal roof and an approximate 400 sf of canopy.  The building will house a large classroom, offices and restrooms. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Harris County County Manager’s Conference Room located at 104 N. College Street, Hamilton, GA. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. on February 16, 2023, at the same location.
