NOVA Engineering is seeking a Business License Technician with a strong financial acumen in Dunwoody, GA. The selected candidate will oversee the application process for business licenses (new businesses, alcohol permits, etc) and also oversee the financial reports for the licensing department. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the record keeping for the business license department
• Receive and process applications for city business licenses
• Respond to inquiries
• Issue license renewal notices
• Manage the city’s business license records
• Review existing licenses
• Collect delinquent accounts, fees, assessments and various tax revenues owed to the municipality
• Bookkeeping and reporting financials to the city finance department

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience processing new business applications and alcohol permits (preferably with a municipality).
• Prior bookkeeping and accounting experience is required
• Strong financial acumen is required
• Excellent communication skills
