Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Grounds Maintenance at Jimmy Davis Park.  This position requires that the applicant perform maintenance and grounds work within the guidelines of departmental regulations, applicant must have knowledge of techniques including mechanical repairs and be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools. The position requires the applicant to maintain the park at a high standard.  Applicant should also possess familiarity of safety requirements and regulations, including proficiency in operating general outside maintenance equipment.  Applicants must be flexible to work nights and weekends for activities and rentals.  It is recommended that the applicant have a good understanding of athletics and a willingness to learn how to maintain athletic fields.  The position will be under the supervision of Putnam County Recreation Department. 

Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, Motor Vehicle Report, drug test, and possess a valid driver license.

This is a full-time position and compensation will be based on qualifications and the current county pay scale.
