The City of Hinesville is accepting applications for a Grant Specialist I. This position is responsible for providing grants administration support to the Community Development Department to ensure timely and quality execution of all grant programs.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Experience with grant writing or grant administration within a government agency, above-average skills in written and oral communication, negotiation and problem-solving and the ability to read and interpret policies and procedures as they relate to government programs is required. One to two years’ work-related experience and an Associates degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field is also required. Minimum starting salary is $37,283 plus excellent benefits. The position is open until filled.
