  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in municipal or governmental Accounting, with a preference for CPA certification.
    • Knowledgeable of Fund Accounting.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Tyler, Munis, or similar.
  • Licenses and Certifications:

    • Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia.
    • Must be bondable.

The starting pay for the Controller position will be competitive and commensurate with the chosen candidate's qualifications and experience. The targeted starting pay is $117,073 - 133,309/year (exempt). The City of Johns Creek also offers an attractive package of health benefits, retirement (401(a) and 457 Plans), and paid leave.
