AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CONNECTION (ADRC) COUNSELOR

Southern GA Regional Commission is accepting applications for an Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) Counselor. Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, human services, or a related field (OR) Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) WITH two years’ experience in human services or health-related field (OR) Associate’s Degree in human services or health-related field WITH two years’ experience working with aging and/or disability populations. Duties include telephone assessment and counseling for individuals who are elderly and/or disabled and need information on resources and services. Computer/data entry skills required. Preference given to candidates with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, mental health, home health, and/or nursing home care. Driver’s license, MVR, background check, and drug test required.  Salary DOE. Hours M-F, 8:30-5. Excellent benefits. Position is in Waycross, GA office.
