CLASSIFICATION TITLE: FINANCE DEPARTMENT - ACCG SUMMER 2024 INTERN

This is an ACCG Student Internship Program position. The work schedule for this position is a maximum of 200 hours for the entire internship. The Internship will start on May 1, 2024, and end on September 1, 2024.

Summary: The Finance Department Intern will help staff set up a Pension portal for Glynn County employees. The intern will create different pension parameters and upload different excel document summaries as needed to support the implementation of the new portal.

 

Essential Functions:

  • The intern will:
    • Help build the portal
    • Create different pension parameters
    • Upload different excel document summaries
    • Work with personal computers and printers
  • Report to Glynn County‚Äôs Finance Director
  • Performing administrative duties. Other related duties assigned by the Finance Director.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate, or graduate program, or recent graduates (Graduated within six months of the start date of the internship May 1st, 2024.), in the Business Administration or Management, Finance, Project Management, Accounting, Design, or any other related field.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with customers. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and keep to strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to attend corporate events after hours and on weekends.

Special Requirements: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. The intern will be required to have some knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
