The Northeast Georgia Regional Commission (NEGRC) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant within its Administrative Division.  The Administrative Assistant will provide support to ensure efficient operation of the office. They will support the administrative staff through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The Administrative Assistant must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.



  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organizational and time‐management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office equipment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three years of related work experience.


This position reports to the NEGRC’s Executive Assistant/HR Manager. The range for annual salary is $40,000‐$45,000 based on experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is provided.
