The Twiggs County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified professional for the position of County Administrator. Candidates who are only interested in serving on an interim basis are also encouraged to apply and will receive an expedited review.
The position of County Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the county government. This position will serve as the chief administrative officer and head of the administrative branch of county government. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field or at least five years of experience as a county or city manager/administrator or in a closely related field.
The Middle Georgia Regional Commission will be receiving all application materials and will conduct the initial screening for these positions. Positions will remain open until filled.
