The City of Winterville, Georgia seeks a full-time police officer. The Winterville Police Department serves a primarily residential community with a population of 1,200 in Athens-Clarke County.

This position requires community patrol and regular interaction with citizens.
 

Minimum qualifications:

• 5 years of experience preferred in law enforcement work.

• Law enforcement certification requirements as set forth in Georgia law.

• Valid Georgia driver’s license.

• Successful completion of background and reference checks

• Radar Certification
