The City of Johns Creek is seeking an Intern to support the Human Resources Department. The Intern will assist the department with a wide range of projects, including:

• Performance Review Enhancement Project - learn about general and government performance management and the latest trends.
• Wellness Champion: Learn about the emphasis on whole-body wellness. Help find speakers and compelling topics to drive awareness and participation and reduce overall claims with preventative care initiatives.
• Social Media Niche Sites for our Job Sites to assist with Recruiting the Best-find those sites that work for government in the career openings that we have and are most effective in cost and quality candidates.

Note: This seasonal position will end on September 30, 2024, and is not eligible for benefits.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Basic knowledge and understanding of Human Resources
• Perform accurate and timely data entry
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current college student or recent graduate with a concentration in Human Resources Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
