Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician

Harris County, Georgia, population 36,000 and located in west central Georgia along the Alabama border 60 minutes southwest of Atlanta, 30 minutes north of Columbus, and home to Callaway Resort and Gardens and FDR State Park, is accepting applications for a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician.

This is a full-time position and reports to the Director of Facilities Maintenance.  The purpose of this position is to perform technical duties in the maintenance and repair of county facilities to ensure all county facilities are able to operate.  The lead technician possesses the authority to change, coordinate, and review quality and quantity of work performed by other employees and provide updates as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a HSD or GED, at least five years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work.

The starting wage is $20.59 per hour, plus generous benefits including a five-year vesting schedule for retirement.
