Position Summary:

Bus Drivers operates school buses safely under all types of weather conditions; Transports students and other authorized persons to and from school on regular, special education, and Magnet routes; Makes extracurricular trips as authorized by the local school system.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years driving experience required; Exemplary driving record classified as no more than 2 moving violations in current 7 year driving history

Certification/Licensure:

Must have a valid CDL B or CDL B Permit with Passenger, Air Brake and School Bus endorsements. No CDL/Permit? NO PROBLEM, we will teach you and you will earn while you learn.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug testing
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and TB testing with result clearance
  • Annual physical examination with result clearance
  • Must successfully complete abbreviated Bus Driver Training Program provided by Fulton County Schools Transportation Department
  • Exemplary driving record (no more than 2 moving violations within the past 7 years)
  • Must be dependable
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
