The City of Sky Valley, GA is accepting applications from qualified law enforcement professionals for the open position of Police Chief.

Minimum Qualifications: POST certification, 5+ years of ever increasing administrative experience and an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.

Preferred qualifications: 7+ years of ever increasing administrative experience to include prior experience as a Police Chief, relevant Chief certification and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.

The police chief is a salaried- full time position and eligible for benefits.

Salary is negotiable and competitive.
