ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR
SERVICE LINE INVENTORY
for the
CITY OF CAMAK, GEORGIA
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Camak, Georgia at Camak City Hall, 15 Johnson Street, Camak, Georgia 30807 until 3:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
A Utility Contractors License is not required for bidding.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to determine service line material through minor excavation “pot-holing” on all water services 2 inches in diameter and smaller. All participating in the program are required by contract condition to make "positive effort" to solicit and award subcontracts to minority and women owned businesses for services and/or supplies.
Time allotted for contract is 120 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion.
Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on.
The project is proposed to be funded with a State Revolving Fund loan. All SRF requirements apply.
Drawings and Specifications are open to public inspection at the office of the City of Camak, Georgia and at the offices of Turnipseed Engineers in Augusta and Atlanta, Georgia.
Copies of the plans and specifications must be obtained from Turnipseed Engineers, 4210 Columbia Road, Building 3, Augusta, Georgia 30907, upon receipt of $50.00.
Digital copies of the documents are not available.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
