Listing Summary

Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the Finance Director by performing the core financial functions of the City including overall financial management, accounting, reporting, budgeting, payroll, procurement, internal auditing and financial record keeping.  Duties are highly responsible and complex, requiring independent judgment, and are accomplished under the general direction of the Finance Director.  Responsibilities involve a progression of tasks necessary to producing timely and accurate statements of the City's financial condition.  Theses tasks include developing internal control procedures, which will promote efficiency and accuracy, and identifying weaknesses in existing methods in order to reduce risks of decisions being based on misinformation.

Salary Range: $69,914 - $109,043
