Listing Summary

This Business Analyst position will support 10 to 15 municipal members on financial, market and regulatory matters pertinent to the successful operation of the Member cities’ natural gas distribution systems.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication and technical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work with cross functional teams.

Analyst Responsibilities:

• Financial and Economic analysis including cost and revenue forecasts.
• Conduct feasibility studies.
• Work closely with our Marketing group to grow and sustain Members.

• Energy rate analysis including providing monthly rate sheets and invoices.
• Help and assist Members with contract negotiations.
• Understanding Pipeline Rates and providing Regulatory Support.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree (business or technical preferred).
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Professional work ethic and timeliness.

• 1-3 years’ experience (this new position can also accommodate candidates with more experience).

Preferred:

• Some natural gas or utility industry experience.
• Power Business Intelligence knowledge.
• Municipal Government knowledge.
