Spalding County has an opening for a Personal Property Appraiser in the Tax Assessors Office. This is a benefits eligible full-time position. We offer health, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, defined-benefit pension plan and more. 

Under general supervision, appraises personal property to determine values for tax assessment purposes. Duties include submitting personal property digest data to Chief Appraiser, collecting and analyzing data pertaining to personal property valuations including Business Assets, Marine Craft and Aircraft located in the county. Provides information/assistance to the public. Reports to Chief Appraiser.
