The City of Pine Lake, GA is seeking a highly qualified, professional, innovative and visionary City Manager to manage, lead and assist the governing body, the staff, the community and its partners in the continued enhancement of community and organizational policy, structures and development. The City operates as a Council-Manager form of government and provides ample opportunity for an incumbent to have long term, significant and positive impacts on a wonderful community.
The successful candidate will possess demonstrated and outstanding professional management, communication and leadership skills with the proven ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team oriented environment. The selected individual will possess the necessary technical skills to advice the governing body appropriately on a variety of issues associated with policy making and challenges confronting a dynamic environment.
The City will require candidates to possess a Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Public or Business Administration and a Master's Degree in a similar field is desirable. Given the complexity of issues confronting local governments, in general, and Pine Lake specifically, candidates with specific experience managing a City or County government, or similar entity will be given added consideration. Candidates who are Full Members of ICMA or ICMA Credentialed Managers are especially encouraged to apply.
