Municipal Court Clerk/ Utilities Clerk
The City of Lakeland is accepting applications for the position of Municipal Court Clerk. This position involves general office skills including keyboarding and computer data entry; filing, providing customer service, collecting fines and fees; and processing, maintaining, retrieving and disseminating information and documents, Courtroom duties, and other related duties. This position will also be responsible for assisting with the utilities department, collection of payments and customer service.
The City is seeking an individual with good communication and customer service skills in dealing with the public, who has specific experience in office work involving detail-oriented administrative duties involving basic computer operations, and who can handle confidential information. Preferred experience using Courtware program.
Applicants must possess office or clerical experience, must have a high school diploma. All applicants are subject to an extensive background investigation, drug testing and valid Georgia Drivers License. Overnight travel is required for training. Salary is based on expense and education.
