Augusta, Georgia Government is searching for an experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the city’s IT initiatives, drive digital transformation, and ensure the security and efficiency of government technology systems. Reporting directly to city leadership, the CIO will be responsible for managing IT operations, overseeing cybersecurity protocols, implementing technology solutions, and leading a team of IT professionals to support Augusta’s evolving digital needs.

The selected candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Additionally, candidates must have at least five (5) years of experience in the management of information processing and computer applications, with a minimum of four (4) years in a supervisory role.

Augusta, Georgia Government offers a competitive salary starting at $111,121.00, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
