Town of Alapaha is seeking PART- TIME Certified Police Officers to preform core police duties, patrolling Town streets, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, enforcing laws, conducting traffic stops, and engaging in community policing efforts, on a flexible schedule. 

Minimum Qualifications for employment:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must be 21 years of age.

• Possess a valid Georgia driver’s license.

• Possess a high school diploma or GED.

• Georgia P.O.S.T. certified Police Officer.

• No felony convictions

• Pass a background history check.

• Pass a drug screen.
