Pike County Board of Elections and Voter Registration is accepting applications for a Full-Time Elections Specialist position. This position is responsible for assisting the Elections Supervisor, in preparing for elections and maintaining election equipment. Such duties may include, but not limited to, performing routine maintenance on election equipment, supervises logic and accuracy process for elections, assists in developing/maintaining policies and procedures for complying with State Code and State Election Board requirements, recruits and trains poll workers, develops training schedules and material for poll workers, maintains Board of Elections web and social media content and manages advanced voting in-person. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license, and capable of lifting up to 50lbs. Preferred Qualifications: Resident of Pike County. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience maintaining web pages and managing social media accounts.
