Planning and Development Clerk

This position is responsible for assisting the Planning and Development Department in the following areas: providing the public assistance and information regarding business licensing and building permits, processing new business licenses and building permits, maintain files and records of building licenses and permits, and providing other support services to the Planning and Development Department as determined by the Licensing and Permits Coordinator and/or the Planning and Development Director. 

This position will report to and work under the supervision of the Licensing and Permits Coordinator.

This is a full-time position with a high school diploma or GED required. The qualified applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, web-based applications, and possess the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms. The qualified applicant must pass background checks and drug testing.

The position will remain open until it is filled. Benefits are available to full-time employees who satisfactorily complete a probationary period.
