The City of Hinesville is accepting applications for a Police Administrative Technician in the Police Department. This position is responsible for answering and directing incoming telephone calls, monitoring radio communications, data entry/retrieval in Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and internal computer systems, providing information to the public, receiving bond and fine payments and maintaining required files. The position requires working a rotating, 12-hour shift, from (6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) and (6:00 p.m.-06:00 a.m.)
MAJOR DUTIES:
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and one to two years’ experience. Successful candidate must meet current GCIC/NCIC requirements for certification as an Entry Level Terminal Operator. Applicants will be required to take a clerical skills test.
