The Coastal Regional Commission (CRC), located in Darien, GA,  is seeking applications for Planning & Local Government Services Director.  Candidate must possess a planning-related Bachelor’s degree with years of increasing responsible duties; Master’s Degree preferred.  Requirements:  Knowledge of all assets of urban, rural, and regional planning.  Position is responsible for preparing the department’s Annual Program Statements and Proposed Budget; monitoring budget status of all departmental work programs, contracts, and formulate and execute budget adjustments as needed.  Schedules, monitors, and supervises all research, project development, comprehensive planning, government liaison, and other activities conducted by department staff. 

Skills: communicate effectively both orally and in writing, reason and work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, interact with local government officials, CRC departments and other agencies as a team player to coordinate projects. PC based software, including SharePoint, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
