The White County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications for the position of County Manager. This position is responsible for the supervision of County Departments, the day-to-day executive role, and reports to the five-member County Board of Commissioners. This position is responsible for overseeing a county budget of $27+ million with $21+ million allocated to the general fund.The minimum requirements for this position are a bachelor’s degree in public administration or a related field plus at least five years’ experience as a city / county administrator / manager - or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a full-time position with comparable pay and benefits assigned. The successful applicant will be subject to a background check and drug screening.
