PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is responsible for professional and administrative work in developing and maintaining the parks and recreation system in the County of Pike. This position involves planning, organizing and directing the activities of the County’s Parks and Recreation Authority staff and management of any and all projects and facilities within the Authority.
Bachelor’s degree in recreation, physical education or closely related field; supplemented by five (5) to ten (10) years previous experience that includes recreation programming, park maintenance and related supervision in local government; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $76,782.26p >
