Perform general professional accounting work and a variety of other technical tasks relative to financial reporting for the County. The main focus of this position will be grant reporting and correspondence with grant recipients within the County. This will include maintenance and preparation of grant reporting to state and federal governments
, monitoring financial transactions, and providing budgetary control. The selected candidate will provide highly responsible, professional, and technical work in the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of fiscal, financial, and statistical records, successor agency activities, and reports using government accounting principles and procedures.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Experience using automated accounting system and skill in using PC and software applications (including spreadsheets and word processing) and experience in governmental accounting is desired.
