The Permit Technician provides customer service and support to architects, engineers, contractors, and the general public. This position provides technical information related to plan review, building inspection, and permitting services for constructions, development, and project plans as required. This position staffs customer support desk, intakes and digitally routes applications, assists with scheduling, issues permits, and provides administrative support.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Education and Experience:
Minimum one year experience in office or customer service setting.
High school diploma/GED Bachelors degree preferred.
Certified permit technician preferred.
