The City of Blue Ridge is now accepting applications for City Clerk.  Job duties will include but are not limited to: Documenting, facilitating and attending all city council/board meetings, keeping minutes of all meetings, document and publish ordinances and resolutions, public records management, records retention management, contracts, bids, licenses, permits, taxes, ethics filings, assist with elections, assist with Planning and zoning, and annexations. Applicants must have one-year experience in an office position, be efficient in Microsoft Office, have basic computer and customer service skills, pass a background check and be able to work past 5:00 p.m. as needed. This is a full time position and does include benefits such as health insurance, sick leave, and paid holidays.
