The City of Lilburn is seeking an Assistant City Manager of Community Development to join and serve as a key member of the City’s leadership team with the direct responsibility of management of assigned departments and effective implantation of Citywide strategic initiatives and policies. This position serves as the development leader for the city, assisting the City Manager with establishing short-term and long-term development and redevelopment plans to meet the city’s strategic growth and development objectives. It is important to note that responsibilities are broad in scope and involve highly sensitive and publicly visible projects that require a high degree of policy, program, and management discretion.

The expected starting salary range for this position will be determined depending on qualifications of the selected candidate. The City offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage. Additionally, life insurance and long-term disability benefits are paid by the City. The City participates in the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) Employee Retirement Defined Contribution 401(a) program and a Deferred Compensation 457 (b) plan. A monthly car allowance and executive leave are additional benefits.
