Entry level Civil Engineering position on path to licensure as a Professional Engineer. Acquires limited knowledge and develops basic skills by working closely with the City Engineer and other staff members in the surveying, design, and construction management of a wide range of projects. The projects involve street paving, water systems, gas systems, storm water drainage systems, erosion control compliance, sidewalks, and sanitary sewer projects. It requires teamwork and a desire to learn through application of engineering fundamentals.
