COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER for 911

Full-time, HSD or GED; experience in emergency communications or related field preferred; must possess valid Public Safety Communications Officer and CPR certifications or ability to obtain same within 6 months of hire. Ability to operate a variety of equipment to include computer, printer, voice recorder, TDD, satellite weather receiver, communication equipment.  Duties include dispatching law enforcement, fire, emergency medical service, and non-emergency calls; receiving, screening and monitoring routine and emergency calls; recording all information manually or via computer.  Salary $16.20/hr plus benefits.
