MARKETING COORDINATOR (Part-Time)

Under general direction of the Community Services Manager of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Services, this position is responsible for coordinating and maintaining updated messaging regarding the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Services on all media platforms, including print, social and web, as well as coordinating the bi-annual activity guidebooks for the Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job qualifies.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, communications or related field is desirable.
  • Three plus years professional marketing/communications experience, including community relations, media placement and advertising.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva; Adobe Creative Suite a bonus.
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays assigned.
  • Possession of a valid Georgia Class C driver’s license.
