Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Provides administration support to assigned department and post-award administration for various grants activities to ensure that grants are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements. Processes procurement and HR requests for externally funded grants/contracts following university policies and procedures. Builds and maintains partnering relationships with internal stakeholders and assigned departments.
1. Responsible for departmental grant award portfolio
2. Analyzes budgetary activity and advises PIs on mechanisms for, and allowability of budget modifications and/or no-cost extensions
3. Advises on applicable policies and procedures for grant related travel, human resources, procurement, and compliance
4. Collaborates with Grants & Contracts Managers for review of grant related purchases
5. Responsible for the department’s Purchasing Card (Pcard) and assists with electronic purchasing systemprocesses
6. Process all procurement, reimbursement and hiring requests
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Two (2) years related work experience
Experience with Grant and contract policies of Federal, state, and private sponsors
Experience with Cayuse or electronic grants management system
Pay Grade: Non-exempt 20

Ability to work independently without guidance
Able to devise, develop, collect, and analyze statistical information and reports
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
