Listing Summary

Under general supervision, this position performs safe and efficient operation of firefighting apparatus in response to emergencies, for pumpers, ladder trucks, and other special firefighting apparatus at the emergency scene. Reports to the station Lieutenant. May serve as the acting Lieutenant as required. In the absence of the Fire Lieutenant, this position may assume temporary responsibility of the fire company with full responsibility and authority of a Fire Lieutenant.
