The Aquatics/Multipurpose Center Manager administers, maintains and manages the Lumpkin County Aquatics/Multipurpose Center Manager. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing daily operations; planning and implementing goals, objectives, and strategies for the center; preparing and monitoring the center’s budget; hiring, training, and directing full and part time staff; and performing additional tasks as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree from college or university with emphasis in recreation or sport management or related field with at least five (5) years’ experience in an aquatics field including managing public swimming pools and physical plant operations; supervision of staff and programs; and fiscal responsibilities., or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess CPR/First Aid/AED Certification, Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification, Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor Certification, and Lifeguard Instructor Trainer and Water Safety Instructor Trainer Preferred.p >
