The City of Dublin has an opening for a Water Treatment Plant Operator. This individual will perform routine chemical tests and operate the various pumps and equipment necessary to process drinking water. Midnight shift work is required. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and have a high school diploma or GED. Some work experience as a laboratory or mechanical helper is beneficial.
Starting salary is $16.57 per hour for a trainee or $18.44 per hour for a Class III Operator. An extensive fringe benefit package including health, dental and life insurance is also offered. The successful applicant must pass a drug screen.
