Middle Georgia Regional Commission is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant.  This position acts as the Middle Georgia Regional Commission’s primary receptionist, proofreader for all documents and correspondence, and direct back-up to the Executive Assistant. The Administrative Assistant prepares all outgoing mail and mailing lists, keeps all internal employee information documents up to date, and performs other duties as assigned.  This position reports directly to the Executive Director. This position is full-time in office. This position requires a talented individual who can engage collaboratively with local governments in a professional, resourceful, trustworthy, accountable, efficient, and innovative manner.


The Administrative Assistant must possess, at a minimum, an associate degree, and five years of experience in an administrative position.  A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in management, administration, or a related field is desired.


Middle Georgia Regional Commission provides services to 11 counties and 20 cities in Middle Georgia through its office located in Macon, Georgia.
