Request for Proposal: 2023 Old Stone Church Addition

Catoosa County Board of Commissioners (CCBOC) is seeking responders to submit proposals on the following:

The construction of an addition to our historical Old Stone Church building as described further in the Request for Proposal document package which can be found at www.catoosa.com/Bids

A Mandatory Onsite Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held Thursday, March 9^th, 2023 at 10:00am. The address is 41 Old Catoosa Parkway, Ringgold, GA 30736.

BID SUBMISSION

THREE (3) copies of your Proposal must be sealed and delivered in person, by mail or overnight delivery service to:

Sealed Proposals must be received by: 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 30th, 2023. Proposals received after said time will not be accepted.

The envelope shall state: “SEALED PROPOSAL – 2023 OLD STONE CHURCH ADDITION” to prevent accidental opening. Proposals shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope with all the information required by law, including the name of the project and the Respondent's name and address.

QUESTIONS CONCERNING BID

All written questions or concerns regarding the Bid must be made via email only.

The Deadline for questions is Friday, March 24, 2023, by 12:00 p.m. Responses will be available on the website on Monday, March 27^th, 2023.

REQUIREMENTS

Responder must have minimum Worker’s Comp and General Liability Insurance in full force and effect.  No Proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Respondent holds any and all necessary or required Federal, State or local licenses and/or permits. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91, all contractors and sub-contractors performing work within the State of Georgia on a contract with a public employer must register and participate in a federal work authorization (E-verify). Catoosa County will require certification from Respondent that this requirement has been met. Each Respondent shall submit with its Proposal a copy of current Business License &/or Occupational Tax Certificate issued in the state of Georgia. If Respondent cannot provide this License, it will be required to obtain one from Catoosa County if it is awarded this contract. Qualifications of the Respondent will be reviewed before the Award of the Contract.

Catoosa County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive formalities, technicalities, or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary.  The contract between Catoosa County and the selected responder shall be subject to the payment agreement drawn up between Catoosa County and the selected responder.

Any Proposal submitted in response to this Request shall remain open for acceptance by the Board, and same shall be honored by the contractor, for a period of  sixty (60) days from the date set forth hereinabove for the receipt of Proposals.
